US Startup Funding Rounds (SEC Form D, $5M+), Updated Weekly
US companies that filed a Form D for $5 million or more sold, one row per company and filing day: the amount sold, the industry the company reported, its address, the filing date and the link to the filing on sec.gov. A new week is added every Saturday.
When a US company raises money privately (seed, venture, growth equity, convertible notes), it files a Form D with the SEC within 15 days of the first sale. Plenty of rounds never get a press release. The Form D is there anyway.
Funds, insurers, banks and real-estate vehicles are left out by the industry each filer picked on the form, so what's left are operating companies raising a round.
Columns: company, industry, amount_sold_usd, filing_date, filing_week, city, state, zip, address, sec_cik, sec_filing_url.
Good for: finding companies that just raised while the budget is fresh, counting rounds by week, industry and state, and joining with a CRM by company name or SEC CIK.
Built with SpecStream, the live web data engine for teams and agents. The same rows come as an RSS feed and a JSON feed at specstream.ai/feeds/us-funding-rounds.json. For another amount, other states or industries, or the executives each filing names, ask SpecStream in plain words at specstream.ai or through its MCP server.
