SpecStream, from SEC EDGAR Form D filings
Collection method
Each filing day is one SpecStream request that reads that day's Form D filings on SEC EDGAR, keeps US addresses with at least $5,000,000 sold, and records the filing link. Funds, insurers, banks and real-estate vehicles are dropped by the industry the filer picked on the form.

Weekly, every Saturday. The listing's file is replaced with the full merged file, so a download always has every week so far.

One row per company and filing day. A day can come back one company short of EDGAR's daily index (Oct 14 and Oct 16, 2026 each missed one). Amounts are the amount sold so far in the offering, as filed.

Sample structure score: 99.7 / 100

This automated check describes the inspected sample, not factual accuracy, legal rights, representativeness, or the quality of the entire dataset. It is not a customer rating.

Assessed 10 sample records (CSV) on 2026-10-18. All records in the provided sample were checked.

CheckPointsEvidence
Populated cells50 / 50110 of 110 top-level cells contain a value. Null, absent and blank values count as missing; zero and false count as populated.
Consistent value types29.7 / 30109 of 110 populated cells match their column's most common observed type. Types are inferred, not checked against real-world truth.
Consistent record shape20 / 2010 of 10 records have the expected fields. CSV/TSV use the header width; JSON uses the union of observed keys.

About this data

US companies that filed a Form D for $5 million or more sold, one row per company and filing day: the amount sold, the industry the company reported, its address, the filing date and the link to the filing on sec.gov. A new week is added every Saturday. When a US company raises money privately (seed, venture, growth equity, convertible notes), it files a Form D with the SEC within 15 days of the first sale. Plenty of rounds never get a press release. The Form D is there anyway. Funds, insurers, banks and real-estate vehicles are left out by the industry each filer picked on the form, so what's left are operating companies raising a round. Columns: company, industry, amount_sold_usd, filing_date, filing_week, city, state, zip, address, sec_cik, sec_filing_url. Good for: finding companies that just raised while the budget is fresh, counting rounds by week, industry and state, and joining with a CRM by company name or SEC CIK. Built with SpecStream, the live web data engine for teams and agents. The same rows come as an RSS feed and a JSON feed at specstream.ai/feeds/us-funding-rounds.json. For another amount, other states or industries, or the executives each filing names, ask SpecStream in plain words at specstream.ai or through its MCP server.
