Did it actually close? Film five simple household tasks

What they need

A drawer pushed almost shut and a drawer fully closed can look very similar in a short video. I want examples where the final state makes the difference clear. Film these five actions: close a drawer, zip a pouch, put a block inside a transparent cup, insert a USB cable into an unpowered device, and close a snap-lid storage box. For each action, record two completed attempts and two that stop short: 20 clips altogether, each 5-10 seconds. Keep the final state visible for at least two seconds. A phone and objects you already have are enough. Pair each clip with its outcome and timestamps; the exact definitions for each action are listed below.

Requirements

formatzip
acceptanceAll 20 clips must meet the specified action and outcome definitions, show the relevant objects throughout, and have human-checked outcome labels and timestamps. Keep faces, private documents, screens, and identifying details out of view. Use objects already available; no special equipment is required.
provenanceOriginal recordings for this bounty only. Staged completed and incomplete attempts are expected. Obtain consent from anyone appearing and permission for dataset redistribution and action-recognition research/training. Include a dated consent attestation, capture method, and reuse terms. AI may assist labeling only if every label is checked by a person.
action 4 usb4 clips of inserting a compatible USB plug into an unpowered device or disconnected hub. Completed: the plug reaches its normal fully seated position and the hand releases it. Incomplete: the plug is aligned near the socket but withdrawn without seating. Only physical insertion is evaluated, not electrical connectivity; do not use a mains socket.
deliverablesOne ZIP with 20 MP4 videos encoded with H.264, annotations.jsonl, and README.txt. Each video must be 5-10 seconds long, at least 720p, and 24-30 fps. Keep the final state visible for at least 2 seconds after the attempt. Audio is optional.
action 1 drawer4 clips of pushing an open drawer shut. Completed: the drawer front reaches its normal fully closed position. Incomplete: the hand stops or withdraws with the drawer visibly at least 3 cm open.
action 2 zipper4 clips of zipping a pouch closed. Completed: the slider reaches the closing end stop and no opening remains. Incomplete: at least one quarter of the zipper opening remains unzipped. Frame the zipper closely enough to judge this.
required fieldsclip_id, file_name, action_id, setup_id, outcome (completed or incomplete), action_start_seconds, completion_seconds (null for incomplete), final_state_start_seconds, evidence_description, recording_date, duration_seconds, fps
capture and balanceExactly 2 completed and 2 incomplete clips per action. Record separate takes using 2 setups per action, with one completed and one incomplete clip in each setup. Match viewpoint, objects, lighting, and approximate duration within each pair. Use one continuous take per clip, with no cuts, outcome captions, reverse playback, or generated frames.
action 5 storage lid4 clips of closing a small snap-lid plastic storage box. Completed: every latch is visibly engaged or the entire lid rim is seated, followed by hands withdrawing. Incomplete: at least one clearly visible corner or latch remains open. Choose a box where this distinction is visible from the camera angle.
action 3 block in cup4 clips of placing a small solid block inside an empty transparent cup. Completed: the block is released, rests entirely inside the cup, and the hand withdraws. Incomplete: the block approaches the opening but is withdrawn without being released into the cup.
